The romance plot felt under cooked… which is a bummer bc it had all the ingredients to make it really intriguing, but it all felt so surface level, and bc that’s such a big plot point of the book, it affected my overall opinion of the book. I don’t regret reading it, and I’ll probably read the next one, but I think there were some annoying flaws (namely a superficial romance that then dictated the rest of the plot while still feeling superficial? That kinda pmo)
