Every book in this series and world starts off with me thinking that it will be the last book I read from this world, but by the end of it, I want to find out more about the other characters and continue with the series.

I really liked Makenna and Ryan in this book. They both said what they were thinking so there was no miscommunication. I really liked how even when they did have issues, they talked to each other and worked it out.

I liked seeing the characters from the other books, but all the side characters are in the background, and they aren’t really developed. For example, this book was mostly supposed to be about Ryan finding out that he has a relative that he didn’t know about, so he’s supposed to be trying to get to know him. I think throughout this whole book Zac is only fully shown in a scene maybe three times, otherwise he’s in the background which I don’t count as being part of the scene.

The reason why the beginning of most of the books in this world bother me, is because the character who is new to the pack always immediately acts so familiar with everyone. It’s really annoying how they know no one and yet after exchanging one sentence with someone, they immediately say I like you and their relationship is established. There is absolutely no relationship development with the pack and there aren’t many, if there are any, scenes where the main characters spend time with the side characters.

I still want to continue with the books in this world, but I know that I won’t be completely satisfied with the stories. Even though I want to read Riley’s book because I want to see more of Dexter and Savannah, I know that in her book they probably won’t even be mentioned much.
