The Price of Pride: A Pride & Prejudice Variation
by Abigail Reynolds
Tough call having to choose between 4 and 5 stars for something I'd rate 4.5...only rounded down because it's PG and I do love a good bodice ripper! That said, I'd been having a disappointing run of regency PPFFs, and Abigail Reynolds has restored my faith that there are still good canon era stories to be told!
Very angsty, but oh so well written. And best of all, AR always writes D&E with the PP95 characterization in mind, which is the only one that works for me!
