many thanks to the author for this arc

i usually hate miscommunication but boy did i eat up the tension it caused here. i loved the angst, the pining, it was so so good. harris is definitely a new favorite book bf (every time he said my wife i cried tears of joy) and avery was just the sweetest soul. i loved how the friend group interacted and definitely want to go back and read the rest of the books in this series 

i found the pacing to be super fast but it made sense in the grand scheme of the story but i wish we got more of the day to day between harris and avery. the spice was definitely spicing and the set up for miles’ book has me itching for 2025
