Smashed it out of the park. This was so unique, when I picked the book up I literally thought WTF is going on? However, the robots are so funny. I laughed out loud reading and also cried a little at the end. I also got the book version with the additional bonus chapter/ short story and I loved that too. I think TJ Klune is a very talented writer. I liked the questions the novel brings about on humanity, what it means to be human, life itself and the power of memory. I think the characterisations were all so unique! That’s the word for this book! I also liked in the acknowledgments that the author admits this whole book is down to the fact that they bought a fancy ass hoover. Love it. I genuinely thought, no you can’t be 5 stars but honestly I finished this book earlier and I’m still thinking about it. It just has to be.
