When Books Went to War: The Stories That Helped Us Win World War II

I loved learning about books being used as weapons against Hitlers ideologies, and the comfort they brought to the military. Many of whom had never read before enlisting found solace in the stories from home and continued their love of reading even after the war. I loved reading about the publishing companies ideas and their passion for distributing books to the service men. The only reason I didn’t rate it higher is because it read a little dry at times. But a good book for any history lover.
