I really enjoyed the first book from this series and was a bit nervous about going into the second and not having as good a time but I am so pleased that I was worrying for nothing. This book was a fantastic read - possibly even better than the first.

In this book we follow on from events of the first book and see Keziah trying to forge her way in this new way of living. The setting in this book is much broader than the first but that enabled the author to do so much more with the plot and it really paid off.

This book is packed with plot twists and surprises. It really kept me guessing throughout and I had plenty of moments which shocked me.

The pacing of this book was great, the writing style is easy to read and I found the characters fascinating - I had to keep reading to find out what would happen to them next.

Another fantastic book from this author.
