Not the best, but could've been worse.

Listen, this book had great potential. It just needed better editing because it was confusing at times, and I feel like it lost its direction midway through it. There were a lot of badly written fight scenes that were sooo frustrating to get through.

That being said, it had potential with the storyline and its characters. I'd probably have ditched half of Sabine's povs because she wasn't doing much besides going back and forth with her morals, to end up throwing them in the wind at the end. Bastien, Ailess, Jules and Marcel had great potential, if the author dedicated more time into developing them. I wish there were more conversations between the characters, so we could get to know them.

I don't think I'll be reading the second book, and I'm giving it a 3 star solely for the potential it had :(
