Friction by Sandra Brown
5.0

Another wonderful, perfect book by Sandra Brown. I don't know how she does it but this being the second book I've read by her and also being perfect in my eyes with story structure, plot, suspense, characters, and everything included in a great and well-written story, there is no doubt that Sandra Brown is an artist when it comes to writing. I truly admire her skill and her stories!!

There was a wide range of characters and a bunch of different plots and subplots (and different crazy suspenseful plot twists!). Some of the characters made me very angry which I think was to be expected. And of course others I rooted for wholeheartedly. Crawford reminds me of one of those misunderstood, scruffy, intimidating kind of guys who really has the warmest heart for those he genuinely cares for like his daughter. Their relationship was beautiful and made my heart all warm and fuzzy reading interactions between Georgia and Crawford.

Holly was also actually I think one of my favourite female characters. I like her honesty and her drive and precision to do what's right. I felt she was a pretty strong character.

This story also had the perfect dash of hot romance and many leaves-you-wanting-more moments. Coinciding with the suspense and main plots it all tied in very well.
