The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien
5.0
Out of the entire trilogy probably my least favorite, but that's still the weakest of the best, so it still gets five stars from me. These books are simply phenomenal and influential beyond belief. Doesn't feel right to give it anything but.
I guess my only real comment on this one (and the final book) is how it's kind of formatted oddly (at least to me) with one sub-book following Aragorn, Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli, Merry and Pippin, and the other Frodo, Sam and Gollum. I still feel that cutting between the two (basically what the Peter Jackson movies did) would've been a better alternative, but it's clearly not Tolkien's vision and that's A-okay.
