This book has so many mixed reviews. There are some very well-worded observations on society, class, race, identity and media that left my jaw on the floor. I also think the concept of being obsessed with an unavailable man is quite relatable and there's a quirky narration style so I thought I'd like this.
However the main character is awful and there is simply no plot or growth so far to make reading about this woman worth it. Full respect to people who enjoyed this but not for me.
