it had been over a year since i read the first book, and so to revisit this world after so long and delve so deeply into the most luscious writing i’ve ever read, it felt like a magical experience to me.
silver’s perspective, tobias’ presence, maud’s wonder, and mrs. silver’s reproachful attitude all shaped this novella to be quite an interesting reading experience for sure and i loved every moment of it.
