Three Women by Lisa Taddeo

4.0

It took me a while to decide how many stars to give this (tough decisions, eh?!). Going with the lower half of four stars. It did a great job showing how varied female desire can be, and the circumstances that inevitably come along with that. It showcased three women, and while the three stories differ from each other, I'd have loved to see it with MORE women. And of COURSE with non-white women. It definitely lost a star for me by not highlighting any women of color. What I also missed was a further discussion on these issues/this topic. It did this somewhat in the epilogue, but I would've wished that was more of a highlight of the text. Great for starting a conversation, though. I finished and instantly wanted to find people to discuss it with!
