challenging emotional reflective sad medium-paced

This was an interesting premise to delve into what happens after a woman is found after being presumed dead for 15 years. I listened to this on audio and love that there was dual narration as the chapters switch between the two sister’s point of view. The family dynamics were messy to say the least. It was hard to feel empathetic to some of Nova's family when she’d endured such tremendous loss over the 15 years she was held captive.  Thank you to Brilliance Publishing | Brilliance Audio and NetGalley for the ALC.
