3.5* a fun little book that I found to be overly descriptive at times making it hard to keep focus or interest. I was hoping it was a stand-alone tale but found out that it will keep going. I love the idea and the magic system behind this which is unique in its own way. The characters are interesting but I feel a little stereotypical at times. However I will be interested in seeing what happens next.
