This was better than expected.

Zhuliya lives in USA but her parents are original from Russia. Zhuliya wins a contest where she will get an tattoo from the famous monster Ilian.
Ilian is gone for the human the moment she steps into his tattoo shop in Russia. He smells her and knows he needs to imprint on her.

But he does it without her consent, and with a tattoo on her back.
(would be a red flag normally, but hey. that's why we read these books).

Now Zhuliya and Ilian has to go on a mission to removed their mating-link.
Do they actually want to be imprinted on each other? Maybe they do, maybe they don't.

I loved the spice in this book. I read some new things that was wtf. But it made sense for the couple. No shaming here! I really enjoyed their spicy scenes together, they are attracted to each other a lot.

The worldbuilding was really good in my opinion. I loved all the places their journey took them. The fantasy aspect in this was really good!

Nothing more, nothing less. 

3/5 stars.
