The Farthest Shore by Ursula K. Le Guin
4.0
As usual Le Guin's writing is poetic and artful.
The earthsea cycle is different from other fantasy books in that there is no epic battles or choreographed fights. The main conflict is about Ego and what it means to be human and as such a lot of the book centres around characters and their motivations with solutions being found through these lenses.
Well worth a read, as are the other books in the series.
