"I love it when you quote me." - Nikolai Lantsov

The emotional journey I took with this series!!! ;____; <3 <3 <3 I am officially ride-or-die Grishaverse <3!!!

The visual scope of this final book was mind-blowing and breath-taking; I felt like I was watching a movie in my head. Everything I craved from the main characters and the previous books came true: Mal matured, Alina became more honest, The Darkling cemented himself as a tragic villain, Genya got her redemption, Zoya got to be more than a mean girl, Nadia was WAY more than an obligatory high school bestie, and NIKOLAI is still The Greatest Character in All of Fiction FIGHT ME! This finale was full to the brim with perils (seen and unforeseen), double crosses, casualties, sacrifices, grief/PTSD, and surprising twists. No one was safe, everyone's choices mattered; I LOVE when an author doesn't pull punches!!! I feel rewarded for my time, and in love with this universe!!!

I cannot wait to jump back in, with both the spin-offs and the Netflix adaptation to look forward to. Thank you, Leigh Bardugo, for giving us this world!
