This was another set up book in my opinion. We are refocused on the Vamp side of Mercy's world. We also have Zee's son Tad back for this one. But while it was very entertaining, not the best in the series. I did like how we got a Stephan cameo I guess you could say, and a little extension of the werewolves as the 'Moore' is sent by Charles. And We also get some more humans as well. We also get more of Gabe and his family. As We start with Jesse and Mercy black friday shopping and they get into a bender and when they try contacting the pack they cant get anyone. She goes to the garage to find Ben and Gabe. Adam told Ben to run, grab Gabe and get to Mercy and Jesse and when Mercy finds out they were all taken. She drops the kids at Gabe's mom's and goes to get Kyle with Stephans help. The people who took the pack still had some there and turns out it was the humans... or was it? We also find out some cool things about the unique connect Mercy has with Adam and the pack which I think is super cool. But in the end it was again a entertaining and fun one just not my favourite :)
