Ao Haru Ride, Vol. 3 by Io Sakisaka

4.0

While I'm not fond of Futaba following Kou around and the heavy amount of screen time granted to Futaba trying to decide how to proceed, I'm still really enjoying this. I also like how Shoko's interest in Mr. Tanaka is handled well (as in, Mr. Tanaka shoots her down when she shows interest, good for you, Mr. Tanaka!). I also like how pushy Futaba's being about helping Kou, it feels like she's breaking out of her shell a little. And of course, the art was fun and enjoyable as usual.

I think there are a LOT of contrivances in this particular volume (Futaba's worried about losing Yuri as a friend if she tells her she likes Kou, and she just HAPPENS to run into someone who was dealing with that EXACT SAME SCENARIO? Only in shoujo manga, folks) but I still had fun reading it. Still good so far, let's see if it can keep this up.
