This is the first in a three-book series and draws you into the world of the Gargoyles and Demons world. It is fast paced with several different near-death experiences faced by the female lead whilst also incorporating the beginning of a love triangle.
Choose your side carefully .. I'm team Roth all the way. I've read this series before, several times in fact, and it is one which I wish I could read over again for the first time.
