This installment was just fine for me but I'm not sure, maybe it's because it follows almost the exact same pattern as the previous two that I'm a little bored with it now. It was predictable. I wish there was more of a slow burn between Rowan and Shay, considering they worked together the opportunity was really there for it but they gave in so quickly and then there was the threat of a break up like 9/10 of the way through.
I did like how caring and free and fun loving and loyal Rowan was. He seemed to help Shay while still respecting that she was worried for a reason, he helped her to build fun into her life while still adhering to her boundaries. I liked Shay as well, it was interesting to be in her head considering how she is shown in the other books from their perspective. Like Rowan she was loyal and caring and working towards being fun loving again.
I honestly think Kai had the most character development, he really came out of himself and it was lovely to see.
So yeah, absolutely fine book but it was nothing different to the other two. The writing style is super easy to read and does keep you engaged which is good.
