wu zetian is the baddest bitch who is here to end the patriarchy with her bare bloody hands and although it lacks nuance i am very much on board.
the clearheadedness re: the potential love triangle was refreshing, I'm glad that did not play out into an extended angst-ridden saga. honestly, all three protagonists were v hot. 10/10
not much of a plot, considering zetian's main goal was successfully achieved within the first few chapters. although arguably the largest villain was the systemic oppression of women all along!!
no nuance, only rage vibes,
