The book's synopsis and fantasy label made me think this was going to be something completely different, and it wasn't until I figured out what was really going on about halfway through that I actually became invested in the story. Having said that, I still don't really know what this book is about. The writing style was interesting but I found the poetry sections to be lackluster. Not sure I enjoyed it, per say, but I think it could spark some interesting discussions.
