This was my first time reading a second chance romance and I loved it! Aurora is such a flawed yet loveable FMC and I related to her so much (and her nickname, LOVED). The MMC is obsessed with her, has absolutely filthy mouth, and takes care of her so well. The dual narrative made their filthy thoughts about one another enjoyable to read (seriously, the spice was spicing and I was here for it… if you’re a pearl clutched maybe stay away). I love that this was a romance with a gorgeous setting, some truly feet kicking/giggling moments, but with more somber undertones and themes explored. It gives them a realism that cannot be beaten and Rekindling the Flame is no exception.

Fans of Book Lovers by Emily Henry you will love this!
