Come with Me by Ronald Malfi

dark emotional mysterious sad tense medium-paced

4.0

Aaron Decker's wife Allison is killed, and gone with her are some dark secrets. Come With Me follows Aaron's journey to uncover the hidden parts of Allison's life, while also dealing with the grief of losing his wife and the horrors of being haunted by her ghost.

I really liked this book a lot. It was terrifying in parts, and devastating in others. I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding out of my chest during some really spooky scenes. By the end I was practically in tears, because overall this story really explores dealing with the grief of losing someone close to you. Malfi's writing style also just makes me want to pick up all of his other books 😍
