Oof this one was rough. This book was sooooooo much inner monologue that I'm sure if you took most of it out, you wouldn't have an actual story. It was like these two characters were in love with other people and then suddenly in love with each other but no action that led to them falling in love. All the drama in this book felt surface level and unnecessary. Then at around 80%, the FMC was in love with the MMC but dumped him when he said he wanted to be with her, decided she wanted to try with him and then spent the last 10-15% of the book waffling back and forth between "I love him but I'm afraid to tell him" and "I'm afraid he'll leave me" despite him working overtime to show her he wanted her. Honestly, they should have cut about 100 pages.
