The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock Holmes, #9) by Arthur Conan Doyle

3.0

I was surprised and disappointed that the 2011 edition still kept the n-word in. I appreciate that the original text needs to be respected and that we should read bearing in mind the time and context... The male chauvinism is to be expected and impossible to remove from the original works, but really I see no excuse for that language.

Otherwise, intriguing tales and mysteries aplenty.
