The Sea Gives Up the Dead
by Molly Olguin
dark
As dark as the most bitter chocolates and equally rich. This collection of short stories ponders death, loss, and sorrow. The tales range from historical fiction to fairytale to somber meditation.
These stories don't give up their themes or meaning easily and I know I will be pondering them for a while yet.
Beautifully written, but not for those going through a tough time.
