Butterface by Avery Flynn

I liked this book because it's a different tale then the typical Ugly Duckling to beautiful Swan transformation. Gina, the FMC has a big heart, 2 very protective mafia related brothers and a kicking body. What she doesn't have is a stereotypical beautiful face. She's been bullied about her looks anx is highly skeptical about the MMCs, Ford, intensities towards her qjen her flirts with her and kisses her on the jumbotron at a wedding.

However she thinks he is genuine when after a highly embarrassing moment in a hotel, Ford seems to want to come around, want to protect her and fixes things around her guide while on protecrion assignment at her house.

This book has both POVs so thankfully the reader can delve into Fords head and it appears that Ford genuinely likes Gina. However at the same time he is using her to get to take down her brothers organization ( which she is not involved in).

I wanted you see a bigger gut punch reactuon fron Gina when the deception was discovered and a longer fallout so was slightly disappointed at the latter part of the story. However I understand this is a romantic comedy so I didn't think the angst would be very high.
