DNF...I enjoyed the slow-ish burn of Holly and Adam's relationship through the first 60% of the book. Once they started together though, they simply had sex and it would take pages and pages of them having sex.
The real kicker for me was when Holly got kicked by the horse. Then the next day she says, "Her leg throbbed in a reminder that she'd been in serious danger..." (I'll preface with saying to take this bit with a grain of salt, as I majored in equine in college) But...her leg was BRUISED!!! They put so much attention on such a small bruise, which okay.. could have been worse, but horses don't typically just kick you because you "handled them wrong." They kick if they've been spooked and even one lesson or zero lessons teach you to not walk behind a horse, so.. how did she even get kicked? If it was just by walking in a stall, you would know your horse is abnormally dangerous and you wouldn't let an inexperienced individual in with your horse...
