The Hidden King by E.G. Radcliff

5.0

I read the description of the prequel, The Last Prince, before coming across this book and I honestly fell in love with the concept. I’m often intrigued by fantasy books, usually involving fae, kings or princes, so this one seemed amazing.
I finished this book so quickly because it was brilliantly written and I immediately became attached to all the characters, as well as being emotionally invested in their story within the first chapter. The names of the characters are all so good too, with the main ones being Áed, Ronan and Ninian.
There were so many different emotions portrayed throughout this book, and the way it was written made it feel so much more real and accurate. Each event led to a different emotion, and I’m slightly in love with this story. I’m so excited by the prospect of a third book and I can’t wait to see how the characters handle future situations.
