The title, I feel, is a bit remiss. Yes, while it discusses feminism, its focus is on the cross-sectionality of being female and being fat, and more broadly on society’s focus on women’s physical appearance, specifically weight. It also provides unique insight into her neck of the journalism woods and changes in the emergence of the digital age.
West is funny and informative. Her narration is appreciated since this is a memoir/essay collection.
