Maybe I was overestimating this book, but I was disappointed. Personally I think Jenny Downham was hoping for instant emotion with such a touchy story line. I'll admit, at times, the book was sad, but never enough to make me cry. I was shocked at how cold hearted some of the characters were, and the ending wasn't written well at all.
Despite all of those things, I would still say it is worth reading. Really makes you think and appreciate the time you have here.
