Great follow up to Annihilation. Still creepy and suspenseful. Lost track of the timing and was genuinely surprised to find Control had only been at Southern Reach about a week when things started going off the rails (but maybe it’s because I’m a slow reader). I like how the author didn’t try to recreate Annihilation, but instead continued the story from a new point of view, expanding on old mysteries while adding entirely new ones.
