I first watched the TV show and then read the book. The show stayed almost 100% true to the book and I thought it did the book very well. I like the storyline, excited to read the next one! The translation isn't perfect and there was definitely a lot of grammar and wording errors, but that is not the authors fault, although it did agitate me to read around those mistakes.
