5.0

There is SO MUCH that happens in this 4th book. We follow multiple storylines mostly in Morath and Rifthold, and see events through different points of view.

(If you struggle with multiple POV/storylines, be prepared to be overwhelmed. There is A LOT that happens. However, if you’re one with multiple stories on the go-this one book satisfies that need so well!)

Most notable new characters are the witches, Elide, Nesryn and Lysandra. (All incredibly strong women)

We see the lines of loyalty, trust, light, and dark blurred and redefined.

We learn more about the Wyrdkeys and magic.

A new kingdom is on the horizon, but who’s?

This series just gets better and better! We’ve watched Aelin grow from an entitled teen to powerful queen and the transformation is stunning. I’m excited to watch her grow and follow the stories of Dorian, Manon, Elide, Chaol, Nesryn, Lysandra, and Aedion.

I LOVED this book and am attempting to do the tandem read for books 5&6.
