This is book 2 of The Eye of the Goddess Series, and I loved it so much! It’s almost 600 pages long and I devoured it in a couple of days.

The first book, A Tribute of Fire, finished with a serious cliffhanger ending, and I’ve been anxiously waiting for A Vow of Embers. It’s just as fabulous as I was hoping for, and I can’t stop thinking about it.

The action begins right out of the gate, and what an amazing ride. There’s danger, secrets, intrigue, and a sizzling romance with some intense chemistry and longing between the main characters.

The sparks between them were palpable, and they’re obviously perfect for each other, even if they might not admit it to themselves or each other. I loved seeing their vulnerability, and how their relationship gradually grew as they started to trust and rely on each other.

The story was gripping and compelling, the writing and pacing were excellent, and the character development was so well done. If you enjoy romantasy, I highly recommend this series!
