Turtles All the Way Down by John Green

4.0

Wow, that was a BLAZINGLY FAST read. And actually a very enjoyable book!

I didn't love Looking for Alaska or The Fault in Our Stars and haven't read Green's other books, so I didn't really know what to expect here. That being said, I was definitely engrossed in the story Green tells and I empathized strongly with Aza.

I think Turtles All the Way Down is a really excellent look at mental illness and the reality of what it means to live with yourself when your brain seems to be operating without any of your own input. I also much appreciated that the two most important relationships in the book were between Ava and Daisy and Ava and her mother.
