I’d use a blue-ish gray color to describe this book, almost like the sky after a storm. This book was so so good, I devoured it! It was the perfect mix of adventure, mystery, romance, and laughter inducing parts. I often say that when you have to reread a paragraph because it was so good, that’s how you know it’s a great book. Also I definitely didn’t guess one of the biggest plot twists so that was refreshing.
Now I’m sad because I have to wait for my library to reopen to get the next book in the series.

In this book Anna has lived above a lab in her basement for many years. Inside the lab are four, genetically altered, boys. When it’s time for the Branch, who own the boys, to come pick them up, the boys don’t let that happen. The boys leave the lab for the first time in 5 years taking Anna with them as they navigate being on the run.
