Paisley is a new author to me and I think she is going to be one of my favorites.

Although this is not a Hockey Romance where he plays hockey, Nash Carter is a retired NHL player who is moved back to his small town. He owns a bar and he renovated the Ice Rink and has programs and teams there he runs. This guy is BUSY. GO-GO -GO. He has always acted as another brother. Protecting her and keeping her out of harms way. This characteristic is one that stands strong for Nash's character.

CeCe has recently come back as she has squashed her relationship with her fiancé. He is a POS. She is looking for a job and well, what do you know. Nash's ice rink is looking for someone just like her. When hired it is noted that he does not sleep with employees....well, you have to know without even reading it that is a big lie! lol

These two play a little cat mouse and Nash is fighting with himself, knowing that he shouldn't do what he wants to do but consequences....what are those when you have this girl you want. I love a book where the characters have a solid connection. This being CeCe's family and father. They are both working through grief, in the same and different ways, with his passing and this brings them together.

THE SPICE WAS SPICING and it was soo good. I'm pretty sure my face was red often. Nash and Cece together were hot! Paisley did such a good job providing an amazing storyline/plot and characters to fall in love with. This book was amazing! It was an AMAZING debut novel for Paisley and I cannot wait for more from her!
