Owlet by Emma Michaels

5.0

I recently read Owlet after it was given to me in exchange for an honest review.

I was skeptical at first because although it seemed like my kind of book I wasn’t really sure because the description doesn’t really give you that much to go on.

I was pleasantly surprised. I was honestly hooked from when I started reading it. It’s a short book and a quick read. I read it over 2 nights and found myself pushing to stay up to read a little more. Some of the details of the story are a bit confusing (mainly about the other world I’ll call it) and I’m thinking I want to reread the book now that I’ve finished and it maybe more clear. It’s something that happens in any story where there are two worlds overlapping. You need to get used to the terminology.

I don’t want to go into details about this story because I don’t want to give anything away… The author does a great job of bringing you into her story and characters especially given the quickness of this read. I found myself getting annoyed/upset along with the characters a few times. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
