Honestly this book just felt lazy. While I'm a big fan of stories with multiple POVs and timelines there were glaring inconsistencies with even the timings of a single day that completely took me out of the narrative.
The twist is obvious from the moment the initial crime is revealed and all of the characters are utterly miserable and hateful with the exception of sometimes Nicole.
It also treats the reader like they're stupid and feels the need to over explain every metaphor or analogy the moment it makes them. If this wasn't a book club read it would have been a DNF.
