Last Chance to See by Douglas Adams, Mark Carwardine

4.0

This was a fun (and sobering) look at conservation efforts being made around the world to save endangered species. Adams keeps things lively with good humor, yet there is still a sadness that sneaks in from time to time. The descriptions of the animals (and conservationists) were sometimes very funny, especially the mating habits of a particular bird. It also has some nice pictures of some of the animals they encountered. Overall, I recommend this book to fans of animals or Douglas Adams.
