What an epic finale!! This book was truly for the fans and if the last line of the book is anything to go by, I hope this still isnt the last of the Grishaworld character adventures ;)

I think Rule of Wolves is one of the best feminist fantasy books I've read! It breaks so many stereotypes and cliches that my respect for Leigh Bardugo as a writer has increased immensely!!

Be it Nina owning body positivity, or Zoya being beautiful and being badass and being unapologetic about it, or Genya shattering the beauty myth and shining brighter than ever, or Hanne finding herself in a new body with the trans rep, or the men, Nikolai and David never being condescending or controlling and always treating the women in their life with respect and equality...I was simply bowled over!

The finale in the series made me feel angry, heartbroken, fierce, laugh out loud, giddy with excitement - basically all the feels and I loved every minute of it!!
