A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson

5.0

I got this book for sale at target, and I am so glad I did.
I've spent hours at a time gripping the pages, and studying the maps on them.
I love how this inclusion added another element to the story, that we, as the readers, could almost be another partner to the Pip and Ravi team. I cried and laughed, and said how unfair things as right along with Pip. (side note: I love the name Pip)
When we found out who was involved in the murder of Sal Singh, I felt played, and I liked that.
After that, when Pip skipped the carnival, I genuinely felt afraid for her, my heart was racing, and I rarely feel that "inside" the book as I did in that chapter.
I loved how Holly Jackson described the feeling of being drugged, and the confusion and survival instincts that went with it.
Amazing book.
The ending is heartwarming, and the character development is so there.
