i’ve been hoping this series would get better as it goes on but it’s not. i’m sorry but Juliette’s character just isn’t it. the only motivation she has are boys. first Adam and then Warner. and of course whenever something bad happens with one of them she completely overreacts and is overly dramatic and it’s just getting so so annoying. especially toward the end when Warner told her she was adopted and the other things and she completely freaked out about it and had a mental breakdown— not because of what he told her but the fact that he ‘kept’ it from her when in reality he only kept the idea that she was adopted from her (she just doesn’t like to listen). and he had a pretty good reasoning for it, too. and i understand why he didn’t tell her some things about his past— it’s (1) irreverent, (2) she never asked, and (3) she is his first real relationship and he never had a good idea of what love looked like so cut him some slack, geez. anyway i felt like she didn’t have any real character arcs until the end of the book but then… what on earth happened at the end? like she screamed and killed 600 people? i’m sorry but no. i get that she’s powerful or whatever but it sounds like a 12-year-old wrote this, not only with that topic but also with how stupidly dramatic this book is. anyway thanks for reading my rant. i will be reading the rest of these books just for the sake of finishing the series and i already have all the books
