Also pretty meh. I think the fun of the first three books is Arthur being thrown around the galaxy in his bathrobe and having no idea what to do with it. At this point he's experienced and jaded, and the snappy observations about culture and society aren't there anymore. Oh well. I guess that pointless ending is also part of the point.
