The Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright

3.0

After going through boxes of books from my childhood I came across a stack of books I saved including this one. I decided to re-read it before donating it. I remember reading it and must have liked it enough to save. For the most part it still held my attention all these years later. It's a little bit dated (going to the library to do research, for example) and had the tenants of many middle grade books (being misunderstood, parents who just don't get it!).

What was weak and rushed was the ending. It just resolved itself with a bit of a gimmick and ten ended. It could have used some more development.
