Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol S. Dweck

4.0

Good core concept, but too repetitive. Most books in this genre fall prey to this to come degree, (I’m guessing publishers feel that a book won’t be considered “serious” unless it reaches the 200 page mark.), but this one seemed especially padded. I’d especially recommend reading this if you’re a teacher or parent who wants your kid(s) to understand that learning is a process, not a destination. Just skip the chapters that don’t apply to your context. The content is fine, but the author is just applying her core concept to specific applications. You won’t miss much.
